Educate Congress

OPERATION: EDUCATE Educate Congress

From April 6 – April 17, members of Congress return to their home districts for the Spring District Work Period. This is an ideal time for citizens to meet with their representatives to remind them about the issues that matter in their communities! As a coordinated effort, CLEAN would like to help citizens set up meetings in each and every district to let Congress know that their constituents demand a clean energy future!

Not an energy expert? Not a problem! CLEAN will help with every step of the way:

  • Scheduling with your Congressperson’s district office

  • preparing talking points

  • conducting the meeting

  • reporting back the results

Status Report: 4/27/2009

During Congress’ Spring District Work Period, CLEAN activists held over 70 meetings with our Congressional leaders to educate them about the opportunities for a clean energy future. Don’t forget to report the results of the meeting with your fellow energy advocates on CLEAN’s social networking site at www.theclean.ning.com
